A one stop source for information on the Government  Reverse Mortgage also know as the FHA HECM

The most common reverse mortgage for seniors today is the FHA HECM, or Home Equity Conversion Mortgage, also known as the HUD reverse mortgage program. The Federal Housing Administration developed the FHA HECM senior reverse mortgage program in 1989 to help keep senior homeowners right where they are, safe and secure, in their own homes, for as long as possible.

There are now two different FHA insured HECM loan programs to fit the growing needs of senior homeowners today.  The "Variable Rate" program offers the flexibility of multiple payment options, including a guaranteed line of credit, monthly payments, cash out, or any combination.  The "Fixed Rate" program offers the security of knowing exactly what your interest rate is as well as maximizing the amount of cash out.  Both otpions serve different needs or wants, take the time to learn the differences...

Imagine realizing your goals and dreams, whether it's simply eliminating your monthly mortgage payment, paying off credit cards or medical bills, traveling the country in an RV, or simply having enough breathing room with your finances... never again to worry about having too much month at the end of your money!

Everyday we have the joy of telling qualified seniors:

YES YOU CAN!

Requirements to Qualify

Not all home owners qualify for the FHA Reverse Mortgage, the youngest title holder must be at least 62 years of age. The home must be a primary residence Single Family Residence, Townhouse, Condo, Duplex (up to 4 units) or a Manufactured Home (built after June 1976 and you must own the land). The home must be owned with sufficient equity ( aprox 60% for age 65 ) or free and clear. This program may not be suitable for all homewners but... get the facts, make an educated decesion.
